Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Forest Township, Rice County, State of Minnesota that the election of town officers and annual meeting will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Forest Town Hall, 3625 Millersburg Blvd, Faribault, MN  55021. Visit foresttownship.com/elections/ for information about how to join the meeting virtually. In case of inclement weather, the election and town meeting may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March at the same hours.

The Annual Meeting will commence at 1:00 pm to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

The Election Polls will be open from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

To be elected are: one supervisor for a term of three years, one clerk for a term of two years. A question on the ballot will read: Shall Option B, providing for the appointment of the clerk and treasurer by the town board, be adopted for the government of the town? Followed by boxes to be checked with Yes or NO.

The Board of Canvass will meet after the election at 8:00 pm.
